Most Youth Programs "Roll the Ball Out." We Build Players.
In the "Rec” cycle, players often develop bad habits, waste your time, or get lost in the shuffle. At Arizona Athletics, we bring professional-level instruction to the youth level.
Whether your child is picking up a ball for the first time or preparing for tryouts our Basketball Camps are the place to be.

FAQ
Q: How are kids grouped? Safety and competitive balance are our top priorities. We separate courts by age (e.g., 1st-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-8th) and then sub-group by skill level to ensure every player is challenged appropriately.
Q: Is lunch provided? Please pack a lunch and a water bottle for your camper! We provide designated time for them to eat and recharge. During week long camps we typically have a Pizza Day on Fridays.
Q: Who are the coaches? Our camps are led personally by Coach Elijah Knox and his hand-picked staff of current/former players and professional trainers.
Q: My child has never played before. Is this too intense? Not at all! Our "Rookie" groups focus entirely on fun, fundamentals, and falling in love with the game. We create a welcoming environment for first-timers.
Q: Do you offer drop-ins? To ensure consistent progress, we focus on monthly memberships. However, reach out to us about a trial session if you are new to the program!
AGED BAsed Equipment
-
For our “Littles,” we lower the hoops. Making shots builds confidence faster than missing on a 10ft rim.
-
We use Size 5 (27.5") balls so small hands can actually grip, dribble, and shoot with confidence
-
All staff are background-checked and trained in creating a positive, encouraging environment.
Meet your head coach
Coach Elijah isn't just a coach; he's a student of the game with over a decade of experience at the highest levels as well as getting it translate to the youth.
“My goal is simple: to give every child the same attention to detail and encouragement that I give professional athletes. We build better players, but more importantly, we build confident kids. If you are going to drive around to practice, we should make it worth the time and investment. It can be fun, but still value added." — Coach Elijah
